I know the first time Fleur got a little upset with the singing; but I rather enjoyed it this time. It was like a big jam. Could have done without some of the dancing though - that's my only complaint.
So let's see; I've still got my job at Mario's. Love it there, and it's extra money during the summer and part-time during the school year. Which, it'll be nice to have a proper Quidditch season this year with no scrimmages. I'm thinking about adding a patch to the uniforms in remembrance of Wood. I think the girls would really appreciate it, as well as the others he gave pointers too during practice. It's still strange, what happened, I know I'm not getting all the details but hopefully in time they'll surface - before something happens again. Just.. as long as it's not Voldemort -- I know the War is long behind us, but this town, some of these people even, have brought others back from the dead. And that's a road I'd rather not go down again. |

I've managed to throw my back out while getting out of bed. I'd like to say that it's incredibly difficult typing sideways on a couch. For this reason alone you should all be more careful with bending and what not? I also feel incredibly old.
Also Quidditch practice is canceled for Tuesday and Thursday permitting. I'm truly sorry, really I am, but right now I don't feel that I could withstand a practice. Think of it as an extra day of vacation guys, enjoy it and stay safe. Trust me when I say you all could afford an extra day off if you wanted. |

Quidditch is going well, surprisingly. Even the Muggles have been impressive. Except for Terrence - but no worries, every Quidditch team needs a broom boy, right? Haven't quite sorted out the positions yet -- but they'll be posted by Tuesday! I am going absolutely nutters waiting for the uniforms to come in. They can't play in bloody sweatpants and jeans.. Blimey our first scrimmage versus the Hammers.. No, I'm not nervous, not at all. It should be fun and hopefully we don't lose that badly and the tickets are free so bring all your friends and their friends.
I think I might end up taking a job back at the bank. No not Gringott's - Aiode Falls Community Bank. It's been rebuilt and everything for a few months now and they gave me a call back.. And a nine to five wouldn't hurt with Quidditch practice, as I do feel rather terrible for having to split my shift at Mario's.
Got an owl today, that was weird. Haven't had a chance to check who it's from but it's probably Mum insisting we check in. |
